A “Superfood” Oil You Probably Never Heard Of…
If you are familiar with Clean Cuisine, you know we always say it is best to get the majority of your fats from their raw, totally unprocessed, “whole food” form (such as flaxseeds, raw nuts, avocados, etc.) because when a food is processed into oil certain nutrients are inevitably lost, including fiber, phytonutrients, antioxidants, etc. And of course some oils are processed so heavily that the end result is a totally empty calorie food (corn oil comes to mind.)
